Hellllllllo, my dearest peeps! I promise I haven’t been useless during my radio silence. In addition to getting writing done, I’ve also been making lots of plans, and I made my first YouTube short! It’s for YWLA and you can find it here.

Now, about those plans. See, We Gave Our Tomorrows is coming up on its first anniversary, and since I wasn’t home to celebrate on release day, I want to go all out this year! But the BEST part is, Savannah (author of Trains and Tulips) and I decided to make it a cooperative blog party, since May 5th is Dutch Liberation Day. So may I announce . . .

Things are still in the works, but we’re planning to run a couple of giveaways. And y’all can get involved – furthermore, we NEED y’all to get involved, because what’s a party without guests? So here’s what you can do to help us celebrate:

Host one (or both!) of us for an author interview, character interview, or guest post.

We’re both open to interviews, and I’m sure we could drag some of our characters over if you wanted to interview them. Or, if you don’t feel in the mood for playing reporter, we can write a guest post on your blog instead. We’ll be sure to share the link to the interview/post!

Write a review post for WGOT and/or T&T.

Review posts are a great way to get out the word about a book! And of course, reviews on Amazon and/or Goodreads are highly appreciated too; the more reviews we have, the more it improves the chances of our books being seen in the algorithm! (Not to mention that I frequently look at reviews before deciding whether I want to read a book.)

If you haven’t read WGOT yet but would like to, I’m willing to give out a limited number of digital copies in exchange for an honest review. Savannah is willing to do the same with T&T – or if you prefer a physical book, she’s offering a discounted price on paperbacks for reviews.

Write your own WWII-related post.

Do you have a list of good WWII books or movies? Maybe you’ve heard of a little-known incident from the war, or you want to tell the story of someone who served. This isn’t just about books, see; we’re honoring the men and women (from all nationalities) of the Greatest Generation. Just please make sure to link back to blackotterbooks.com and savannahjaneauthor.substack.com, since those are the two hosting blogs.

If you don’t have a blog but you do have social media, that works too!
