Gooooooood morning Vietnam!
Okay, this ain’t Nam, and it ain’t morning either (at least not where I am). BUT, I’m still here with your weather, er, writing, report.
I’m very happy and excited (but also a little sad) to announce that I finished writing the first draft for Yesterday Was Long Ago, and it is now with initial proofreaders! (aka my mum) Once my editor (dad) reads it through (which may take a while since he’s busy), I’ll input his edits and then send it off to beta readers.
The plan is to get it published before December, so that I have copies for craft fairs (and so that people can but it for Christmas presents – hint, hint). So far we seem to be on track for that!
Now I feel a little lost because I don’t have writing to work on. 😢 My Italian paratroopers are trying to pester me but I’m not quite ready to restart that just yet.

That’s really exciting! I can’t wait to read it!
So exciting! I usually take a break between books and just write blog posts and maybe some short stories for a bit before diving back into book-writing! I know the feeling of not knowing what to do with yourself when you’re not working on a book, though!
That’s probably what I’ll do too. I’m not ready to have two books going on in my head at once.
