Gooooood morning peeps! (Even though it’s not morning for a certain peep who’s overseas right now.) Lately my brain has not been braining, so – inspired by the lovely character aesthetics Savannah’s been making for her WIP – I did some of my own for a few of the characters in YWLA. Some of them were . . . hard 😅 except for Rory, who came together very easily because he has a habit of hogging all the attention. 😆

(Do y’all have any idea how HARD it was to find a good quote from Petey in what I’ve written so far?! 😭 The kid doesn’t say much because *someone* gets all the attention – which is fine with Petey, but not with me. Petey needs more love.)

Annnnnnd, there ’tis! Y’all recognize any of the song lyrics? Not all of them are from the right era, but I didn’t really care; I was looking for lyrics that went along with the characters’ general vibe or something specific about them.

Also it’s Elvis Presley’s birthday . . . which really isn’t relevant, except that Rory likes Elvis – as does Parker, as does me. Rory and Reg have some friendly arguments about music and singers. 😆
